FEATURE: Invitations and Event Details

We had the privilege of working with Sara from connect the dots events. This Maryland Eastern Shore wedding was fun, clean and classic with the element of orange and yellow as the theme. The circular shape was woven throughout the details. One of our favorites was the table numbers that illuminated each tablescape.

HIGHLIGHT: Wish Upon a Wedding Cocktail Party

I'd like to highlight a very awesome event that we sponsored in June. We designed the 30"x40" board below for the cocktail party that launched the DC chapter of Wish Upon a Wedding. If you don't know about this organization I encourage you to check them out and support the cause.

INSPIRATION FOR A SUMMER PARTY

All I can think about this time of year is the beach and the pool. I hope you enjoy this eye candy, and I hope it's enough inspiration to inspire you to host an end of the summer soiree.

RECIPE OF THE MONTH: Guacamole Dip
I grew up in California, and guacamole reminds me of family gatherings during the summer months. This recipe has an extra kick to it. I hope you enjoy!

Ingredients
4 ripe Haas avocados
3 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice (1 lemon)
8 dashes of hot pepper sauce
1/2 cup small-diced red onion (1 small onion)
1 large garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 medium tomato, seeded, and small-diced

Directions: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh out of their shells into a large bowl. Immediately add the lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper and toss well. Using a sharp knife, slice through the avocados in the bowl until they are finely diced. Add the tomatoes. Mix well and taste for salt and pepper.
