Happy Valentine's Day to you. This week we have all things hearts, love and the color pink on our blog. You'll want to check out the things we heart and maybe share them with your loved ones. Also, below you'll find DIY Valentine's Day cards you can print yourself. So let's dig right in.

FEATURED: DIY Valentine's Day Cards

We think life is all about giving back, and what better way then to send someone a Valentine's Day card to let them know how much you appreciate them. This year Carla David Design has collaborated with Meant for a Moment Designs to offer you a one-of-a-kind valentine card for you to download, print and send to your sweet Valentine's.

HIGHLIGHT: Save the date cards

There are so many ways to help your guests save the date for your event. These save the dates allowed guests to mark their calendars with stickers. The couples colors and theme were introduced and gave the guests just a hint at what the invitations and wedding day would unfold.

INSPIRATION: Valentine's Day

If its a party for one or a gathering of ten. Below is our inspiration for classic romantic day in pink and gray.

Valentine Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter
2 cups sugar
2 large eggs
4-2/3 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup buttermilk
sprinkles, jam or colored sugar for sanding cookies

Directions
1. In bowl of electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar until fluffy, about 4 minutes. Add eggs, on at a time, beating well after each. Sift flour, baking soda, and salt in large bowl. On low speed, gradually add flour mixture to mixer bowl, alternating with buttermilk, until combined. Wrap dough in plastic, chill until firm, about 1 hour or overnight.

2. To color white sanding sugar, if using: place a few tbsp in a small bowl. Mix in petal dust with a toothpick, a bit at a time, until desired shade is reached.

3. Heat oven with two racks centered to 350 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. On lightly floured surface, roll chilled dough 1/8 inch thick. Cut out hearts using any 1 to 3-1/2 inch heart cookie cutters. Transfer with spatula to baking sheets. Chill for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with sanding sugar. Bake until just golden but not too brown. About 10 minutes. Transfer cookies to rack. Share the love of Valentine's with someone sweet and dear to you. Happy baking!
